Be Afraid.. Be Very Afraid
Rational thinking people understand that the more control a government has over them.. the less free they are. So what is it that makes Americans are so willing to give up control to their government?
In a word.. fear. In the last few years, we’ve been left with the impression that our country is going to hell in a hand basket.. and that our only chance for survival is government.
You’re expected to forget that most of the problems facing us today are the result of their (the government’s) fixing previous crisis situations.
The formula is simple. Create a panic and then convince people that the situation is hopeless without government intervention. Top it off by swooping in to save the day with a new government program.
Politicians have always used fear to consume liberty.. nothing new there. The big difference today is that we have an administration that’s bold enough to pull off the charade in broad daylight.. right under our noses.. time and time again. These folks have perfected the formula.

Crisis and fear depend upon victims and villains. Poor people suckered into home loans by evil bankers. Children deprived of adequate health by uncaring health care providers. Workers laid off by greedy executives making too much money. Man-made disasters (once called terrorist attacks) caused by people upset with the way we detain and question their comrades. Overweight people bullied into eating too much unhealthy food by mean, skinny cooks.
And as a collective body of freedom loving individuals… we buy the crap they dish out. You can always count on two things from the government:
- The solution will include another bureaucracy hell bent on infringing upon somebody’s right to life, liberty or the pursuit of happiness.
- The solution will fail and create a bigger problem down the road.
As Americans, it’s important that we all understand the issue being presented is seldom the real issue. Understand that most politicians could care less about you. Their focus is on control, power and winning the next election. They represent whomever makes them the best offer… not the citizens who elected them. But, they need votes to stay in office.
So, their toughest job is selling stupid ideas to their constituency. The best way to do that? With the formula: Create a crisis, spread fear and panic, then become the savior.
Scared people are easy to control. They also tend accept help with little regard for the consequences of accepting that help. Scared people will do things they might not otherwise do. Americans have a good reason to be living in fear today… Our freedoms are dwindling away as we move closer to living under tyranny.

Be afraid.. Be very afraid of where our government is taking this great nation. Your freedom is under attack by a political machine fueled by greed. It’s time for you to join freedom loving Americans and take a stand.
Look beyond the fear tactics and demand honest representation from your politicians at all levels of government. Make them work for you and not the special interest groups that are filling their wallets. Hold them accountable. Question their every word, their every vote. Make them fear you and the power you have over them.
